Copenhagen International Airport (CPH)

The biggest airport in Scandinavia, Copenhagen International Airport (commonly referred to as Kastrup or Kastrup Airport) is located on the island of Amager, five miles (8km) south of downtown Copenhagen. The facility sees 21 million passengers each year, of which more than 90 percent come on international flights. Despite the high volume of traffic, Copenhagen International Airport is an efficient facility with plenty to see and do inside.

Excellent restaurants serving international cuisine and a number of good duty-free and luxury brand shops provide entertainment for adults, while play areas keep the little ones occupied. There are also hot showers and saunas in the airport's Transfer Hotels, which are a great way to relax between long flights.

Copenhagen Airport is situated five miles (8km) southeast of Copenhagen city centre.

Buses, trains and taxis provide transport to Copenhagen city centre. There are several local bus routes servicing the airport from the city centre.
