The Churchill Hotel The Churchill Hotel is an historic hotel in Washington DC. Built in 1906 it started life as a Beaux Arts apartment building before being reinvented as a charming boutique hotel. The hotel is located not far from the attractive area of Dupont Circle and has good access either on foot or by subway to many of Washington DC's most famous attractions such as The Woodrow Wilson House, the United States Botanic Garden and the National Geographic Society Museum. The hotel has a good choice of tastefully decorated guest rooms and sophisticated suites. There are Standard King and Double Rooms, Junior King Suites and luxurious Deluxe King Hotel Suites with a separate bedroom, living room and a private study. The en-suite bathrooms have luxury toiletries, comfy terry-cloth bath robes and quality bedding to ensure a good night's sleep. There is high speed wireless internet access in all rooms and 24-hour room service. Guests can use the hotel's fitness centre or relax in the lounge with a coffee or a glass of wine after a long day sightseeing. The Chartwell Grill & Lounge serves full American breakfasts, and a good selection of salads, sandwiches and grilled steak, salmon and chicken on its lunch and dinner menu. There are plenty of American, Italian and French restaurants to be found in the Dupont Circle neighbourhood.
